Partnership can be beautiful and it can be difficult. Two individuals with various backgrounds come together to create a life in this lifetime. Sometimes communication falls apart or becomes messy. Often times when we begin to feel levels of frustation we are already in our heads too much and disconnected from our bodies.
Couples benefit from Embodied Therapy through a new kind of connection using their body along with their mind. We explore ways to communicate non-verbally and tap into the tools of breath, body sensation, and mindfulness to create deeper connection in the relationship.
Sessions involve partnered movement, dialogue and reflective listening, breath exercises and playful experimentation. A couples Embodied Therapy session can be used to strengthen relationships and connections between two people regardless of where they are on their path of partnership.
